St. Joseph’s GFC – Help your Neighbour

The GAA together with Centra & Super Valu have started the initiative of #ClubTogether to support the elderly in our communities.

St. Joseph’s GFC is involved in the ‘Club Together’ initiative which supports the elderly who must remain at home and do not have family or friends who can shop for them.

Elderly customers register for this service via freephone 1800 111 500 and through SuperValu, Centra or GAA websites or they can call their local county council support helpline.

St. Joseph’s have a team of volunteers in place with Brian Philips as the co-ordinator who will be the link with both Centra & Super Valu.

St. Joseph’s GFC volunteer visits a store to complete the shop for the elderly person and delivers their shopping to their door in a contactless manner.
