Defence of Junior League Ends in Semi Final Defeat

The Juniors had to travel to Lordship on Saturday as the division 4A league entered the knock out stages. Their opponents were the team that they beat in last years final, but whom they had also suffered a heavy defeat to in group stages of this years competition on their way to topping the table.


In truth the Pats were dominant throughout the match and this was displayed in their half time lead of 1-4 to 0-3. The Joes points coming from Gary Kinahan, Alan Quigley and John Mc Guinness. The home side again outscored our lads in the second half, with the Joes adding four further points. Another point each for Quigley and Kinahan, as well as points from Aaron Smyth and Jack Mulligan.
